Your role
It’s your job to create a strategic vision for content across the project lifecycle, workshops, initiatives, and goals that help align client and user goals. Every day, you’ll be working with designers, developers, product managers, and project managers on major website redesign projects for healthcare clients. This is a senior position — we want you to work collaboratively, be able to lead initiatives, think critically, and make decisions without heavy oversight.
Your Mission
Create and deliver on a strategic vision for content across the project, aligning client and user goals.
Responsibilities
Conduct content audits and discovery activities
Establish a content strategy roadmap, goals, and tactics for projects
Create and present information architecture strategies and build out comprehensive sitemaps
Provide guidance to our clients and teams on creating inclusive and accessible digital content
Conduct content design work, including creation of design systems with template and component systems, recommendations for attributes and requirements, etc.
Content Governance: Plan and/or manage the content gather, creation and editing processes (e.g. for content migrations)
Contribute to CMS documentation and training
Your KPIs
IA: Delivery of completed IA that serves both the User and Client needs. Measurable: Work delivered within estimate +/- 20%.
Content Design: 100% Final sign-off received (within estimate +/- 20%) on project designs that incorporate content via collaboration between design and content.
Content Governance: Content governance plan 100% completed and delivered to client on projects where deliverable is specified in SOW.
Accessibility: 100% of content page templates pass accessibility tests
Delivery: Content delivery work completed within 20% of established estimates
Our must haves
Minimum 5 years content strategy experience
Knowledge of digital content best practices, technologies, and trends
Demonstrated skills in content design, copywriting, content creation, and editing
Understanding of information architecture and experience creating sitemaps
Knowledge of accessibility. An understanding of WCAG principles that affect content, including interactions and design elements
Knowledge and skills related to plain language
Experience with content modelling i.e. defining content types, structure, and relationships
Experience with medium to large Content Management Systems (Kentico, WordPress, etc.)
Familiarity with site mapping, sketching/ideating, and UX tools (e.g. Figma, Slickplan, Miro)
Team player attitude — expect to collaborate across all disciplines on every project
The practicals
Location: This is a fully remote, work-from-home position
Office Hours: Candidates can be based anywhere in the US or Canada, but must work during EST hours
Core working hours 9 AM - 5 PM EST
Start date: As soon as possible

Salary
Annual salary $93,000 - $125,000 USD
401K - 3% of salary after 6 months of employment
