As a Web Marketing Analyst at Reason One, you’ll be the agency’s subject matter expert in both Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. You’ll put your data analytics experience and ideas to work every day, tackling a wide scope of responsibilities for large scale client projects. Attention to detail is vital, and a curious, collaborative attitude is ideal. We want you to be the agency’s go-to for all things data, while helping clients use data to drive big results — measuring performance and optimizing marketing campaigns and websites.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Optimization, this role collaborates with all teams and departments on a regular basis. You’ll be expected to bring a positive attitude to the role, with an emphasis on problem solving.You believe the web is for everyone and know how to make it accessible.
Collaborate with project teams to provide data analysis, insights, and recommendations to support web strategy and optimize metrics.
Gather clients’ analytics tracking requirements and translate requirements into a data measurement plan. Implement data measurement plans in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Manage and execute analytics for agency clients, and serve as the primary client contact for analytics/tracking implementation requests.
Troubleshoot issues with website tracking, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager for agency clients.
Serve as agency subject matter expert in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Maintain knowledge of analytics and conversion tracking best practices and trends.
Partner with development teams to integrate analytics tracking requirements and updates into agile sprint cycles.
3+ years experience with Google Tag Manager/Google Analytics management and implementation
3+ years experience in analytics with an emphasis on web and digital marketing, preferably in an agency setting
Ability to juggle multiple projects and collaborate with both local and remote teams is vital. Experience working with a distributed team, using video conferencing platforms, is a must have.
Technical and analytical mindset, with ability to communicate data analysis results to a non-technical audience
Familiarity with UTM codes and their appropriate use for campaign tracking
Excellent written and oral communications skills — this is a client facing role
