Product Manager

Reason One is looking for an experienced Product Manager with a strategic mindset and a drive to deliver the best possible solution for our wide range of clients. Our ideal Product Manager is comfortable steering a team toward a long term project vision—this position is responsible for much more than wrangling a product backlog.

Your Role

At Reason One, Product Managers act as the bridge between ideation and implementation. They connect and align the project team, bringing business goals and user needs together to create a solution that solves the unique challenges our clients face.

Product Management is a key position within our Strategy Department. You’ll report to our Director of Strategy and work with designers, writers, developers, and other strategists every day. Here, you’ll own product roadmaps and backlogs through the creation and management of user stories, user flows, and use cases—developing a deep understanding of the client and their users along the way.

Our must-haves

  • Analytics and Measurement: Work with clients to develop data measurement plans, configure and set up GA/GTM accounts, implement conversion tracking and GA Goals, and maintain monthly client performance reporting

  • A minimum of 5-7 years total experience working as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Digital Strategist, Account Manager, or in similar role

  • Previous Product Manager or Product Owner experience

  • Prior work experience at digital agency

  • The ability to connect the strategic, creative, and technical aspects of a product

  • Experience working in agile and waterfall methodologies and an understanding of how a Product Manager fits into both

  • History of leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful digital work

  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex problems and make strategic decisions throughout the lifecycle of the project

  • Keen time management skills and ability to lead multiple projects at once

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both local and remote team members

  • A tolerance for internal/external shenanigans along the way

  • Knowledge or experience in general digital strategy, user experience, content strategy, development, web analytics, and/or user research

  • An understanding of the current digital product development landscape

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices, and experience implementing them

  • A drive to understand how existing tools and processes work—always asking why and looking for ways to improve end results
