Front End Developer

Reason One is in search of an Intermediate Front End Developer with excellent HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills, and a drive to create inclusive, user-centric experiences in a collaborative environment.

Your Role

At Reason One, our Front End Developers are responsible for translating designs into HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web components, then integrating the code into content management systems for a range of web projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the creative team, seeing the design through to technical implementation.

This is a mid-level position within our development department. We want to see you take on new challenges, and share your knowledge at the team, department, and company level.

You love collaborating and sharing your expertise, helping to improve and evolve process along the way. You believe the web is for everyone and know how to make it accessible.

Must Haves

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Front End Development

  • High proficiency with tools of the trade, including: HTML, CSS (SCSS), CSS Grid, Flexbox, JavaScript, WebPack, Git/GitHub

  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Vue

  • Experience coding accessible and semantic interfaces

  • Experience with and knowledge of performance optimization techniques

  • Knowledge of static site generators, Gatsby and GraphQL

  • Experience with content management systems, especially WordPress

  • Experience working with APIs (REST)

  • Knowledge of component-based design systems

  • Ability to deliver on multiple projects quickly and efficiently

  • Ability to communicate clearly with both clients and internal teams
