Digital analytics & marketing analyst — Remote US

As Digital Analytics & Marketing Analyst at Reason One, you’ll be collaborating with project teams to create data-driven web experiences in an agile environment. You’ll put your experience and ideas to work every day, tacking a wide scope of responsibilities for small and large scale client projects. Analytics expertise is vital, and a curious, proactive attitude is ideal. We want to see that you understand the “why” behind the data and strive for excellence in clients’ analytics and SEO goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as SME on Google Platform, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Data Studio
  • Work with clients to gather analytics requirements for website projects
  • Collaborate with internal project teams to roadmap projects and define marketing and optimization deliverables
  • Develop analytics data measurement plans to map clients’ tracking needs
  • Implement and troubleshoot analytics (UA & GA4) on client websites
  • Develop Data Studio dashboards based on custom requirements
  • Deep dive into analytics accounts and generate recommendations and insights that are translated into presentation decks
  • Conduct SEO audit of websites and produce prioritized list of optimization recommendations
  • Set up advanced implementations of GTM, including custom variables and custom HTML tags
  • Present analytics and SEO insights and recommendations to clients and to internal teams
  • Guide clients through implementation of GA4 


Our Must Haves

  • GA4 expertise; experience implementing GA4 on websites
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with GTM and GA
  • Deep knowledge of and expertise in SEO
  • Advanced experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio
  • Ability to translate client goals into actionable strategies and implementation plans
  • Experience giving presentations in a client facing role
  • Experience as part of a multidisciplinary team 
  • Able to accept and provide thoughtful feedback and strong ideas
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple concurrent projects


Nice to Haves

  • Experience with personalization and marketing automation
  • SiteImprove, Hotjar experience a plus
  • Understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)


The practicals

  • Location: This is a fully remote, work-from-home position
  • Office Hours: Candidates can be based anywhere in the US, but must work during EST hours
  • Core working hours 10 AM - 4 PM EST
  • Start date: As soon as possible


Compensation package includes:

  • Annual salary ranging $65,000 to $85,000 USD depending on experience
